One of the newer designs from ALPS, is this aluminum butt cap. This butt cap is precision CNC machined out of 6061-T6 marine grade aluminum with an addition of UV stable rubber bottom for both comfort and durability. This straight to the point butt cap is what rod builders look for when it comes to adding distinctive looks, without going overboard. Glue channels are milled on the inside to maximize glue adhesion to your cork or EVA handle. New for 2017, with the collaboration between ALPS and Jaguar Design, is our shorter aluminum butt cap. Half the length of a standard butt cap and lighter in weight. Custom diagonal machined cuts for a patrolled custom look.
